Ingredients
- 1 cup short grain brown rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
Directions
- In a colander, rinse the brown rice under running water until water runs clear.
- Add rice and water in medium saucepan, allow to soak for 1 hour.
- Bring water to boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer. Cover saucepan and cook for 25-30 minutes.
- Transfer to a bowl and add the rice vinegar. Mix well, then fluff rice with fork.
1/4 cup provides 1/2 oz eq whole grains.
